The warm welcome from the minute we arrived from Paddy at the desk set the tone for the lovely experience we were to have at the Shamrock Lodge. The room was so spacious, we felt we had booked a big suite by accident! The food at breakfast was lovely and restocked with fresh food very frequently. We had a few odd requests (mainly around check-in) that the staff remedied with care and consideration. Even the taxi driver spoke so highly about this place, it seems to not only be a lovely hotel but holds a great place in the community. I would highly recommend it and hope to be back soon.

Lovely approach to the entrance door lined with candlelit lanterns. Friendly and efficient experience at reception. Well appointed room with nice decor and a really nicely laid out bathroom and furnishings. Lots of space in the room and plenty beds, pillows, towels to meet our 4 person occupancy. Tea/coffee making facilities was well stocked. Lovely hotel with warm, friendly atmosphere. Enjoyable breakfast with good range of hot and cold items and attentive staff. Plenty car parking.

Breakfast was excellent, and the food in the bar (full restaurant is only open on weekends) was so good that we ended up eating there both nights rather than looking for somewhere to go off-site. They were great with the two well behaved kids we had with us and were very kind about the two birthdays we were celebrating. The rooms were comfortable and generously sized and they met our every request. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in an excellent location out of town but so close to it at the same time. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. Very spacious , main bathroom and ensuite in the other room , beds extremely comfortable , another room like a sitting room which was great like a home away from home, parking available right at our door and no noise whatsoever. Would highly recommend this hotel . Great value for money ,

We loved the Shamrock ☘️. Would very happily stay again and recommend to others. Very close to town and ammenities. Bed was comfortable. Next time I would ask for a room not near generator which came on intermittently. Had to close window because of the noise so no fresh air. Lifts not stairs 👍on-site complimentary parking.
